A Mecho shade system with custom-printed shades provides maximum daylight for occupant comfort and productivity while controlling the unwanted effects of solar heat gain and glare.
Art Requirements and Recommendations
Art Requirements
- File must contain full shade opening size.
- File must contain art placement and orientation.
- File type must be either an .eps file (preferred) or a .jpg.
- .jpg files need to be at least 150 dpi at 100% scale.
- File must include 1" of bleed all around.
- All typography must be outlined.
- File must be 4-color print ready.
Fabric Recommendations
- A white or off-white shade cloth that is blackout or 1% open.
- Custom shade cloth printing can be printed on most Mecho shade cloths. Check with your sales rep for recommendations for your project.
- Vector files (.eps) are best because they can be scaled without losing resolution.
- Images copied from the internet, scanned images, and screenshots, are typically poor quality and should be avoided.
